UNITY AND SENDING PEACE TO ALL TRIBES (USPAT) is a Community-Based Organization (CBO/RLO) founded by Mr. Kitoga A. Kilonzo, who serves as the Director and Vision Bearer. USPAT is registered and legally operates under the laws of the government of Kenya. The organization was established with the aim of promoting unity and peace among all tribes, bringing together diverse populations including refugees and host communities.
USPAT is a non-political, non-profit, non-religious and non-governmental organization committed to serving communities without bias, discrimination, or political influence. The organization works to strengthen social harmony by addressing hatred, conflict, and tribal divisions, replacing them with peace, love, mutual respect, and unity among diverse communities.
USPAT focuses on fostering harmonious coexistence through community-driven and inclusive approaches that empower individuals and groups to become active participants in peacebuilding and social transformation. The organization recognizes that sustainable peace can only be achieved when communities are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and platforms needed to resolve conflicts peacefully and support each other in times of need.
To achieve its mission, USPAT implements programs centered on Peace Ambassadors development, where community members, especially youth and local leaders, are trained to promote peace, tolerance, and dialogue within their communities. The organization also prioritizes Conflict Resolution, Mediation, and Dialogue, providing safe spaces where disputes can be addressed constructively to prevent violence and strengthen relationships among different groups.
USPAT is also actively engaged in Humanitarian Aid, supporting vulnerable populations including refugees, internally displaced persons, and disadvantaged host community members through emergency support and social assistance initiatives. In addition, the organization promotes Education and Capacity Building by providing training, mentorship, and skills development opportunities aimed at empowering individuals to become self-reliant and active contributors to society.
Through Social Integration and Co-existence programs, USPAT works to bridge gaps between communities by promoting cultural exchange, understanding, and inclusive participation in social and economic activities. The organization also addresses Mental Health and Psychosocial Support, recognizing the impact of conflict, displacement, and poverty on emotional and psychological well-being.
Furthermore, USPAT undertakes Advocacy and Awareness initiatives to promote human rights, peaceful coexistence, and social justice, ensuring that community voices are heard and represented in development and peacebuilding processes.
Through these combined efforts, USPAT continues to work towards building peaceful, inclusive, and resilient communities where diversity is celebrated, conflicts are resolved peacefully, and every individual has the opportunity to live with dignity and hope.
